Maintenance of stainless steel pan
Feb 10, 2023
1. Open the pot after buying. After buying the stainless steel pot, wash it with detergent first, and then wash it with hot water once to remove impurities such as floating ash. Pour in clean water, add some white vinegar, heat to boiling, and then turn off the heat and wash with hot water. Continue to heat until smoke, put a little oil, let the fat in the oil embed into the pan, and finally turn off the heat and wipe it clean.
2. Do not use bleach or detergent containing ammonia. These components will react with the metal, accelerate the corrosion of the metal, and will be corroded over time.
3. Dry it immediately after washing. This can avoid water stains and water spots.
4. Add salt after boiling the water in the pot. Add salt before the water boils, and there may be some small spots in the pot, which are difficult to brush off.
5. The ingredients should be thawed and then poured into the pot. Stainless steel will shrink when it gets cold, so frozen food is easier to stick to the hot pot. If you want to cook some ingredients taken from the refrigerator, let them thaw at room temperature for 10-15 minutes. Then take a cloth or kitchen paper to dry the moisture on their surface.
6. Cool before washing the pan. Soaking the hot pot in cold water can easily cause irreversible deformation of the pot.
7. Do not use rough tools such as wire brush to clean, and try to use sponge. The wire brush is a rough tool that can easily scratch the stainless steel pot.
